Athena Adds a Fresh Perspective to its Professional Fund Governance Team

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands: Longstanding pioneer boutique fund governance firm, Athena International Management Limited (“Athena”), has added an experienced professional independent director to its governance team.

Sabrina Foster joins Athena with over 20 years’ experience in the alternative Investment funds industry, previously serving as an independent director on hedge fund and private equity vehicles at global financial services institutions, MaplesFS and Intertrust in the Cayman Islands.

Formerly a Partner in the Funds and Investment Services team at international law firm, Appleby, Sabrina has a broad range of knowledge and experience on structuring and formation, corporate governance, financing and regulatory matters for hybrid and complex investment fund structures and strategies.

Sabrina will be based in the Cayman Islands and serve as an independent non-executive director for Cayman, British Virgin Island and Delaware based funds, providing effective governance and a commercial approach to Athena’s growing client base of the world’s largest and most prestigious fund managers.
